Can we use HubSpot with Headless Shopify?
We've integrated many headless Shopify storefronts with HubSpot – the two can absolutely feature alongside each other in a multi-data-sourcing operation.
Like Shopify, HubSpot also provides a fairly comprehensive API. As part of a well-integrated headless solution, data can be sourced and sent from and to both platforms in a way that's fairly seamless from the frontend.
HubSpot presents several points of value for headless Shopify builds. Integrations depend on your plan and contract terms, but HubSpot can augment a headless Shopify build in the following ways:
- CMS Hub
CMS Hub can be used to supplement the storefront with richer editorial content, supporting brand storytelling and on-site marketing initiatives. We integrate CMS Hub into headless Shopify storefronts through the HubSpot APIs, to ensure that site presentation is uniform, as opposed to directing users to Hub content on HubSpot's own platform.
- Tracking
HubSpot's user identity tracking can be used via JavaScript on the headless storefront so that individual customers can be identified within HubSpot and tied back to their relevant records within the CRM.
- Personalised experiences
By identifying the customers visiting the store, HubSpot data can be surfaced via APIs and pulled into the storefront to personalise the experience. This can utilize information already held about the customer and their preferences in HubSpot, leading to a more personal experience on-site.
