The web application allows retailers to order both physical and digital marketing assets from leading vendors and suppliers. AWS was selected as a static storage solution for digital assets, guarded by ACLs to ensure access control and availability only to authorized users.

Implementing an intelligent search experience with Algolia

Algolia's intelligent search solution was integrated directly into the application, to enable efficient product discovery and search indexing. Given the complex ACLs and role-based access control present within the app, Algolia's extensibility was particularly valuable as part of the build.

Utilizing Clerk's extensible, composable solution to application authentication

A composable solution to application authentication was provided through integration of Clerk, a modern authentication provider. This integration allowed us to reduce the amount of custom code required in relation to authentiction, while ensuring a secure and frictionless solution to authentication.

For a subset of the client's users, provision of secure Single Sign-On (SSO) was required. We integrated Microsoft Entra ID to provide seamless authentication for these users, achieving compliance with their internal security protocols and procedures.

Integrating Square for payment processing
